We will visit three famous gorges: 1. Kurtatinskoye (Fiagdon) Gorge, rich in historical and natural landmarks:
Kadargavansky Canyon and the Art Object "Mirror Leopard": a narrow defile with breathtaking views of the Fiagdon mountain river.
Dzivgiskaya Rock Fortress: a medieval structure built into the rock.
Alan Holy Dormition Monastery: the highest-altitude monastery in Russia.
Kurt's Tower and Tag's Tower: the legend of two brothers, Kurt and Tag, heritage of ancestors for more than a hundred Ossetian clans.
Art Object "Æ": a location for atmospheric photos.
2. Dargavskoye Gorge with its unique atmosphere and deep historical significance:
"City of the Dead" (Dargavs Necropolis): a mountain complex of ancient family crypts from the 14th–18th centuries.
3. Karmadonskoye Gorge of harsh beauty and tragic events:
Site of the Kolka Glacier avalanche: you will see the marks where the glacier stopped in 2002 and pay tribute to the memory of Sergei Bodrov Jr.'s film crew.
4. Gizeldonskoye Gorge – a special gift from us: Bolshoy Zaygelan in Midagrabinskaya Valley - one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.
